Beastfolk
Beastfolk is an umbrella term representing the multitude of non-human sapient species and races that reside in Iokirea. Some beastfolk races and species bear little to no resemblance to humans (such as Dragons), some have almost the exact same physical build as humans with the exception of head shape and fur (such as Veslan or Chekala), and all manner of species and races exist in between these extremes. On the continent of Erania, the population is fairly equal between beastfolk and humans, though unevenly distributed. In Strikkonia, for example, they represent a sizeable portion but still a minority, whereas in Teaphala they are an overwhelming majority of the population.
