Knor Brocken
I
Knor
The name of the original city, its gothic and rustic architecture helps it seperate itself from the rest of the cities in the continent. First of its kind, the massive boueys underneath the city to keep it afloat is nothing short of a technological marvel. Large massive spires on each of the regions mark significant locations and schools. Connecting these three regions are massive wooden bridges that seemingly rope all of these together. When the river gets particularly rough, these wooden bridges serve as a tether to keep the city locked in singular movement.
Beginning of the Fall
Prosperous and strong, the kingdom of Knor ran peacefully and efficiently under the guiding eye of Lady Briar Knor and Lord Jonnathan Knor for the better part of a century. The citizens loved them, and they loved the people. During their marriage, they sired 3 powerful and headstrong sons: Fruma, Thorma and Roma. The family was able to enjoy 20 years together before the accident. On a rainy summer night, the parents were making their usual round trip up the river, monitoring the process of the "Living City" protocol, a project that aimed to give Knor legs and allow it to travel up and down the river with the use of massive rails under the water. When they didn't return, the brothers began to worry. A search began. The family's boat was found beached on the coast of Leebrun, tracks of the crew showing them running into the rolling hills only for them to suddenly stop. The only corpses found on the scene were those of the boating crew. Biar and Jonnathan haven't been seen since. Quickly following the disappearance, the next in line to rule was called. Not wanting to relinquish control, there was no single ruler decided and instead all 3 brothers ruled their own region of the city, which was conveniently sectioned into 3. Sacrificing the efficiency of one ruler, tensions settled and Knor was once again whole. But human greed is nasty, and predatory. Each of the brothers felt as though their region was the most prosperous, and they attributed this success to their own beliefs. Wanting the same success city wide, the Brothers began to convince the other that their values are the correct way to run the city. This came to be known as the "Great Divide".
The Fall
Debates began to break out city wide, the common forum building saw an audience nearly every night in which the brothers would viciously argue with one another and with people of the city on which way was correct. Over the course of 2 seasons, these debates began to break down and each region was given a respected official that would represent the people of their respective sector. However, when the discussions proved to be heading nowhere, the three brothers decided to split the city into 3 large districts, each getting their own sovereignty. These sections of the once united "Knor" are known as the Sovereign Districts.
After the Fall
Despite the ideological division, the cities are still connected through bridges and with the multitude of mixed generations that reside in each of the major districts. Traders who once offered their services to other businesses in other districts still do so but with the use of hidden paths that are found in the water tunnels under the city. The denizens of each district have a varying level of allegiance to the brothers, with some wanting to unite the cities while others have given into the ideologies of the brothers entirely. Overall, the division has not entirely isolated each of the districts and it's almost treated as a new taboo to not follow your Region's leader, but it is not illegal. King Jonnaathan and Queen Briar have been lost for 7 years, and despite the seperation, the brothers come together once a year in order to mourn their loss.

Roma De Knor:
Known for his charm, Roma is the oldest of the 3 brothers and acts as such, looking out for his brothers and making fun of them when they mess up. Recently, however, he has moved on from being the warm older brother and has instead spent his time looking at the sky longingly. Froma and Thorma swear that his mind has been taken by Zaverth, the dragon Roma found deep within the mountain range of Gravenborg.
Thorma
"Our material lives are a blink of our existence, our eternal lives are what we must prepare for. Does the bear spend the Fall waiting for Winter? No. It prepares. We prepare by submitting to forces much larger than ourselves. All this squabble and pettiness is pointless. I hope one day Fruma sees past his senseless pursuit of earthly pleasures and prepares for the Winter."
Thorma is more strict about inter-regional travel, having guards posted up on the bridges to question and search those that wish to pass. They aren't too different from Knor, having the important buildings be in the large spires that are scattered around the section. The main selling point of Thorma is the open-mindedness when it comes to religion. Nearly all forms of practice are allowed with little discrimination, extremely different from the surrounding continent of Aqualinda's attitude towards religion. Because of this, many feel that Thorma is the most progressive and it is the most popular to outsiders to reside in.

Warm tones of blue and grey. They tend to show off their necks and shoulders, believing it to be a signify their willingness to let the gods in their hearts. A sign of status is having more articles of clothing in grey silk that is sourced from dangerous spiders that live in the mountains to the south-west.

Thorma De Knor:
Incredibly serious and in dire need of a good rest, Thorma sports heavy eye bags and an everlasting frown. Despite his outwardly appearance, however, he claims he's actually well rested and quite happy with the Great Divide. Some of his maids say differently as they swear they hear him weep in his room at night and see him on his balcony looking longingly at the other cities. Days before his great revelation, he said he knew what happened to his parents and that the Gods showed him; and because of the service they did for him, he must give in return.
]Fruma
"He said what? Bahaha! He's so dramatic. He's just jealous that he hasn't beaten me in a duel since we were 10!"
What Fruma offers is strengthening of your bodily self. Not only this, but competition is common in Fruma, with there being regular bouts of strength, intelligence, and general competitions around the sector. Most of these competitions are for the love and spirit of competition and are known for being extremely fun. Not only this, but there are free courses on any type of battle craft, leading the populous to be some of the most well trained citizens in the continent. If anyone were to invade Fruma, they'd have to worry about more than just the guards when it came to resistance.

Earth tones of brown and pink, there are no special differentiation to signify class between the people.

Fruma De Knor:
Chipper and excited, Fruma is the golden retriever of the 3 brothers. He's also the most proactive. Always offering a helping hand to those who need it and harboring a never-ending flow of love and support for people, he's the one that the younger generation are drawn to the most. He's capitilized on this by holding nearly daily competitions of strength, intelligence, and wit. Although he advocates for strong bodies and intellect, he also makes it a priority to maintain mental stability as well. He was the glue for his brothers and has always been very clear about his frusturations that they can't be a family anymore. He's often seen traveling from region to region, attempting to contact his brothers. While Roma often is seen having lunch with him, Thorma shuts him out nearly every time, an act that people can see very much bothers Fruma.
Police Force
Jolr's Will
The police force, the Jolrsans sport bright blue armor with shields displaying the respective Region that they're currently assigned to. Despite most of the Brothers wanting to seperate their Sectors as much as possible, they have agreed that having 3 differnet police forces would be unwise as juristriction would be a pain. Instead they each have constructed a guard tower in their own region, the guards circulating between Regions regularly.
