Hierarchy Department of Financing and Budgeting
The Hierarchy Department of Financing and Budgeting (HDFB) is the is the international treasury and finance department of the Caniic Hierarchy government, where it serves as a governorate department. The department oversees the Agency of Printing and Design and the Hierarchy Mint. These two agencies are responsible for printing all paper currency and minting coins, while the department executes currency circulation in the fiscal system. The HDFB collects all taxes through the Hierarchy Tax Service; manages Hierarchy government debt instruments; licenses and supervises banks; and advises the Representative Assembly and Security Council on matters of fiscal policy. The department is administered by the Administrator of Financing and Budgeting. The Financer of the Hierarchy has limited statutory duties, but advises the administrator on various matters such as coinage and currency production. Signatures of both officials appear on all Hierarchy Reserve notes.
