Most societies have not experienced entirely peaceful upbringings, whether it was due to resource shortages, ideological contradictions, or something else entirely. As such, many civilizations have developed sophisticated weapons and doctrine in service of their interests - and given the number of civilizations that score highly on the Kardashev scale, these weapons can be truly terrifying.
