Emperor Vence Bal was born in the Domain: Étoile du Vide in the Gregorian year 2276. In the year 2295 Bal attended University in the capital city of his home world. He graduated with his bachelors with a major in military history and a dual minor in economics and sociology. After recieving his bachelors Bal would go back for his doctorate and post-graduation he would join the Human Colonization Bureau and would make Planetary Manager in the Domain: Final Light, a scant 10 years after joining the H.C.B. Roughly 8 years after his appointment as Planetary Management his planet would hold a referendum to secede from the H.C.B. and Bal was openly against the idea, but the people stood against his proposals to remain part of the H.C.B. As a result Bal took steps to secure his power for a post-referendum plant as he knew his planet would starve were it to cut itself off from the H.C.B. As a student of history Bal was well aware of whose head would roll should the planet starve itself and so he became Emperor Bal and started a military campaign against the rest of the Domain while the Coalition was busy with the Kreetar Empire.

Very fit using genetic modification to keep his body in a state of near permanent 20's, though he is unable to stop the aging process completely and his organs certainly reflect his age.

Carries a sever burn across his chest, shoulders, and his right cheek where laser fire almost killed him, but shot was wide enough to prevent killing him.

Attended his planet's capital city's University and graduated as the Valedictorian of his class which numbered in the 100,000's of thousands. His Bachelors was a major in military history with a focus on Space strategy and logistics, double minored in Sociology and Economics. He went back for six more years and graduated with a Doctorate in Political Science.
Employment
After graduating with his doctorate Bal easily found a job with the Human Colonial Bureau in administration. After eight years of service Bal was chosen to be the Planetary manager in a soon to be colonized Domain, the Domain: Final Light. After 8 years as a of service as the planetary manager his planet's population had decided to secede from the H.C.B. as they were running into problems of shipping supplies back to them due to the war with the Kreetar. Due to the necessary supplies that would be required to maintain the population Bal knew the people would be starving and, as a student of history, he knew his head would be the one to roll should its people starve. Bal started making plans and deals to secure his power after the vote. These deals and negotiations would lead to Bal's ascendency to the position of Emperor. As Emperor Bal had led a military campaign to conquer neighboring planets within Domain: Final Light to secure the resources needed to feed his people, with the Coalition too busy to stop him he steamrolled the Domain and then put resources to securing the Domain and rigging the Warp Node to explode should the Coalition prove too strong for his defenses, meaning that should any Coalition forces come to stop him, they would be stranded in a Domain with no way to ever return home so they could liberate a small part of space that proved little benefit and of lesser importance to the rest Human Colonized Space.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Graduated as valedictorian in a class made up of 100,000's, achieved a Doctorate, was made a planetary Manager at the age of 35 years old, became the Emperor of an Interstellar Empire by 41 and successfully defended said Empire from an unstoppable military threat, and almost successfully invaded a Domain, with the invasion itself being the first time an Ex-Colonial Political power had ever invaded another domain in human history.
Failures & Embarrassments
The military losses in Domain: Final Light were all embarrassingly bad with him losing 25 soldiers for every one of the Coalition's and 4 ships for every one of the Coalition's. This failure to conquer is what led to the "Warp Bomb" that severely damaged the Domain as a whole.

Emperor Bal is a man of pragmatism who chose the military path, initially to secure the resources he needed to keep his people alive, the conquering of the Domain was the prevent his trial and the destruction of his Empire at the hands of Coalition ships and militias, and the further conquests of the Domain: New Arrival was to give his people a common enemy and a strong sense of victory and unity with plans of giving the Domain back to the Coalition in exchange for trade, Warp Travel, and recognition as an Interstellar power.
