Voracious Sprite

These blind and endearing Sprites appear friendly, but present a serious threat to both wild plant life and cultivated crops. The trees that survive their touch (often referred to as ‘Weepers’) display markings resembling eyes with scars through them, or what looks like tears streaming from the centers of the eyes. This formation is caused by the blight induced by contact with the Sprite. It was thought in older days that the marks left behind on trees by these eyeless creatures were meant to serve as their vision, but that idea has since been disproved.
Voracious Sprites seem to wander aimlessly and without purpose, causing unintentional damage. Little is known about the Sprites themselves, as they cannot be directly acted upon. Their visual manifestation only is transferred to the Genesphere. These creatures and their behavior elicit many questions about Planes and their interactions with one another.
Attracted to movements of the Willforge, they will appear nearby in the Genesphere in larger numbers following the birth of a natural Volitionist. So where Volition is performed, they will follow. Depending on the size of the disturbance, Sprites will travel from the corresponding area in their native Plane. This connection between Volition and Voracious Sprites has contributed to the practice by common people of calling Volitionists ‘Blight’. Similarly, the Institute of Justice has opted to use these Sprites’ ‘Blight scars’ as their image to Mark Volitionists with.

Can anybody see the sprites?? Or just those who can use volition...
That's a good question! :) Given they've 'exported' their appearance from their native Plane to the Genesphere, any entity with visual access to the Genesphere can see them. Their tangible bodies(assuming they have one) remain at home, so they cannot be touched by people, but they are still visible in that Plane.
