Physical Appearance

This vine thrives on the cliff faces of Crow Steppe's small waterfalls, where it captures the mist. Its main root splits into limbs of varying thickness, one adorned with delicate flowers and the others with the distinctive bucket-like appendages that this plant is most well known for. Small hairs along the limbs direct water toward these buckets, which house the small insects that help the plant to propagate.

Thin feathery leaves adorn both the limbs and the buckets. Each vine possesses a single flowering branch culminating in a spray of nearly flat leaves. Coiling tendrils dangle from the creases of the spray, suspending neat rows of oblong white petals.

Uses in Industry

The hairs from Erbyn Dŵr's vines are the source of its hydrophobic qualities. Voligeneticists strip the hairs from the plant and grind them into a paste that can be spread over a surface to render it waterproof. All parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested.
