Bedel Ilmen

Patriarch of the Ilmen family and Chief Necroforeman of the Grand Ilmen Mine, as well as the crime conductor of the locomotive/forbidden wizard cabal the Ill Omen, Bedel has lived an extremely interesting life as chronicled in his popular memoir. Bedel is a top contender for being the single most interesting person in Indigo. He is a mage of significant power and reputation and has lead what was once a scattered group of magi practicing forbidden arts into a unified organization.
In truth both he and the Ilmen family were banned from Indigo (as they are all WIZARD criminals) until the events of the Empty Night. However with the sudden disappearance of civic structure, there arose a need for the services that Bedel and his family could provide. Two years ago he rolled his mobile wizard academy into the station where it now rests, and set to organizing the trains in and around Indigo.
