Remember This Night

My dear son Dihenaion,

The shadows that loom so low overhead shroud the future in darkness. What awaits our people is unclear to me but what I do know is that our enemy approaches swiftly. The Maiseach are scheming against the those who would worship the Gods, pledging their loyalty to the Fiends that would see this world destroyed. What those plans might be, I do not know. My Sight is clouded and I cannot see though the veil.
Be prepared for anything, for what will come will change the world as we know it. You are strong, brave and wise. No matter what is thrown at you I know that you will conquer it all. I know that if the coming events deprive me of my life that you will rise up and become a great king. I know our people will be safe under your rule and that they will prosper.
I fear one whom I think dead is coming. If this is the case, then you must be ready to stand your ground. I wish I could tell you more, explain more but there is not time. Those that approach to attack our city, our people, come swiftly.  While I must go face them, I know our people are safe with you. I will return as soon as I can, just remember this night. Remember the calm before the storm. Remember that no matter what, I love you and I act in your best interest and our peoples' best interest.
May the Stars and the Gods guide you always.
