Din Real

Lord Nimtolien walks back into the room with Moría. Gods, she's lost more of the flesh from her face. That ends today. Some of her pain will be healed today. She looks at me and I see that she's missing an eye as well now. Whatever magic had been keeping her from rotting away is crumbling quickly.    "Your majesty." She says, crossing her arms. "What do you want?"   I let out a breath and look to her father. "Thank you for getting her but I do still need your help."   He looks a little confused. "How?"   I reach into my bag and pull out the flower. Moría's eye follows the flower. She knows what it meant. I hold the flower out to Nimtolien. "I can't unlock the power that is needed for this to truly bring her back to life."   He walks forward and takes the flower from me. I've never seen him so close to tears. "You'd give this to us, for my daughter?"   "Of course." I smile. "Moría and I will never like each other but that doesn't mean I want to watch her suffer. I've never wanted to watch her suffer. Hells, I chased down the survivors that tortured her and made sure they paid for the pain they caused her. Set her free."   "What about your wings?" Moría blurts out.   "What about them?"    "You could fix them." I flutter them softly.   "I could but this is more important." She crosses her arms, shifting back and forth on her feet, glancing at her father. She nods her head and sits down. I take a step back and watch as Nimtolien kneels next to his daughter and places the flower on her head.   The flower starts glowing as Nimtolien whispers his spell over his daughter. A chill enters the air as the flower disappears into small, bright blue and white specks, melting into Moría's body. She flinches, crying in pain. Tears, actual tears, start running down her face. Her skin's healing, life returning. She twitches, spasms. I move slightly, watching as she falls to the ground. Nimtolien leans over his daughter, and I run over, kneeling on her other side. I press my fingers against her neck, whole and healed. A pulse.   "It worked." I smile at Nimtolien. "The flower and your spells, it released her from that undead state."   "Thank you. Thank you for giving me my daughter back." Moría opens her eyes.   "Hey brat. Welcome back to life." She swats me. Nimtolien shakes his head and helps her up to her feet. I stand next to her as she checks herself over, seeing that she's actually fully together again.   "I'm going to get into so much trouble now." Then she looks at me, both her eyes bright gold and fully alive. "I guess I'm going to have to try to avoid killing you now."   I roll my eyes. "Apparently."   The last of the glowing dust disappears into her body, the final piece of the spell taking affect. The flower did it, it resurrected the dead.

Basic Information

Anatomy

As a type of lily, it has five petals light blue petals with a white center and three yellow pistils. It glows very lightly in the dark.

Biological Traits

It is a highly special plant with incredible magical properties. It can heal any wound, treat any poison, break any curse, it can even resurrect the dead but it's extreme rarity and very infrequent blooming cycles make it near impossible to get ahold of, unless you know a Druid who is tending to a plot.

Growth Rate & Stages

It grows slowly and only blooms once every thousand years.

Ecology and Habitats

Found deep in the forests in the archipelago of Gîlmunîrel.

Additional Information

Domestication

It can only be cultivated in the wilds, though the Druids do take very good care of the plant to ensure they remain healthy.
Besides being rare, it also barely puts forth flowers when it does bloom. The average patch will give one to five flowers, which is why the Druids are so protective of the patches that they tend to.
Conservation Status
Highly protected and extremely rare
