Blood Burning

He is curled up on the ground, crying in pain. Looking down upon him, I could see the vivid red of his blood paths, the horrid painful burning sickness having spread from his hand, up his arm and beginning to cross his chest and creep up his neck. I kneel at his side, inspecting the spreading curse.
"The wickedness was placed in him two weeks past." The young healer informs me then motions to another a few feet away. "He has had the wickedness for near three, it began in his leg."
I look to the other victim, seeing that is has creeped far up his side, spreading across his belly. As gently as I possibly can, I rest my hand on the others belly. Even my light touch causes extreme pain. I draw back, letting out a heavy sigh. I know this too well and the wickedness inside will be a difficult thing to banish away.
"It is the blood burning." I speak to the young healer. "A devilish sickness, difficult to be rid of. Even if we succeed, there will be permanent harm to them."
"There must be something we can do." I walk to a third victim, a young girl who trembles from her pain. "Protector, what must we do to save them?"
"There is but one potion that can help them, the Iceflow. The ingredients are hard to come by, we'll need to start our search immediately, once I look up the ingredients again." I brush hair from the girls' brow. "We need to also find the one who serves the beings of hell. If we do not stop them then this curse will spread like a plague though our lands."

Effect

The curse burns the victim's blood vessels, causing the vessels to appear very clearly upon the victim's skin. It leads to a rather painful death.

Side/Secondary Effects

For the caster, they can become tired or even injured. 
The victim suffers a burning pain where the curse takes hold, such pain spreading as the curse spreads across their body.

Manifestation

Great heat around the hand(s). Searing pain at the sight of contact for the curse.
