Alagos Esgar

The first city the Fileg constructed, Alagos Esgar is one of the most ancient cities in the world and definitely the most ancient city in Gîlmunîrel. As the oldest city it also has the world's most ancient library, which was turned into the Gîlmunîrel Royal Archives, protecting some of the county's most ancient artifacts and documents.   The Fileg are proud of their beautiful city and of their Druids for maintaining the overall health of their homes. In the day the light filters through the leaves with a soft light and at night the entire city is illuminated by small glowing flowers and fireflies.    While most of the city walks across the many bridges and pathways, using the stairs and ramps to access the different levels, there are also many platforms and a lot of room between buildings for the ten precent of the population who can fly to stretch their wings and fly from place to place.

Government

The Chief is the head of the government, with his advisors, the local officials and the senators assisting him with the concerns of the tribe. When things rise above his abilities, the senators bringing the concerns to the Scaled Senate and the monarchs if necessary.

Infrastructure

The beautiful city is constructed high in the trees with graceful bridges connecting the many buildings and ever-glowing flowers from the trees lighting the paths, interwoven with bright light bugs. There are plenty of platforms for the flighted members of the tribe and more than enough stairs and ladders for the non-flighted members.
