The city of Noirlan is founded

The Vidal brothers come to Norland from the eastern Forbidden Zone across the Silent Sea and establish a colony in Noirlan. Using advanced irrigation techniques, the Vidals drain the Norland swamps and reclaim vast lands for settlement and irrigation. Within a decade Noirlan becomes a booming coastal trade outpost and a major population centre of the Merikan southland.
