Doctor Klinnsman conducts a botanical survey of the western continent

This five year expedition pursued Manfred Klinnsman's thesis that the biomes of the North American ecosystem showed more evidence of the post-Cataclysmic Age of Poisoned Sea and Sky than was the case in Europe, Asia, and Africa.   Before Dr. Klinnsman could undertake a second expedition, a much anticipated voyage to the Forbidden Zone, he was called away to Union Delphi to advise congress on how to deal with the Technoclast Movement.
