Wild Magic in In the Shadow of Princes | World Anvil

Wild Magic

This form of magic was the first kind discovered by Borvonicus Victrix during the Heroic Age. Bobo observed that certain material objects could display unstable properties when exposed to specific arcane theorems and logos. Bobo speculated that there were imperceptible gaps in the fabric of reality and that limitless energies bled at the seams of these gaps. He further theorized that an arcane subject equipped with the right theorems and material components could exert his will to call these energies forth and channel them. He called this practice "Wild Magic" and taught its applications to his apprentice, Denille Olivoix. Denille frequently used Wild Magic until he came to be initiated in the Animist arcana of the Ley-men.
