Rook Rider Operations Manual

This printed book is a published edition of a manuscript recovered during the excavation of the Washington Ruins.
The book, written in Precursor English, treats of topics related to the repair and maintenance of internal combustion engines and restorative metallurgy. It appears to be written by the disciple of a legendary post-apocalyptic gearhead known as “Rook.” Some parts of the text are punctuated with anecdotal accounts of “Road Wars” fought between rival Skyland clans during the Age of Renewal.
Very popular around the time of its original publication over fifty years ago, the book was banned after the Unification War and the rise of Merikan technoclasm. Most copies were burned making surviving manuals very rare indeed.
