The Legend of the Raven Queen

There once was a beautiful elven queen who had the love and respect of all her people as she acted with both honor and justice, she showed compassion, understanding, and wisdom. But within this great queen was ambition, a secret lust for power not meant for her. She wished to call herself a God, she betrayed her people using there very souls in disturbed rituals which expanded her power, the rituals worked, scores of people flocked to her, in hopes of being bestowed a shred of power, thousands of Souls were destroyed in the queens lust for power. Until finally she had enough to challenge the Gods themselves, but right before she rode out she uncovered a betrayal against her, some of her followers turned her own methods against her and tried to steal her power for themselves, they devised a ritual to take her powers, so the Queen let loose her wrath on those who would follow in her footsteps, the power unleashed corrupted the ritual, banishing this once great queen and her followers to the Shadowfell.
