Code of Chivalry

Written by the first Knight, the Codes of Chivalry dictate how a servant of Aimonval should lead their life. These codes are strictly enforced by the High Priest of Aimonval for his Paladins and Clerics, outside of the Church many Knights also adhere to these codes to a degree, especially in StormHaven, where Aimonval is a Patron God.

Code of Chivalry

A Knight is a paragon of loyalty, honor, and chivalry, they are to set an example to all, from peasant to lord. A Knight must always be ready for battle, never drunken on wine, never without his weapon. The Knight is a symbol of inspiration to others, a Knight will wear his uniform when in public, to look ready for war and to give strength to his troops. A Knight must also practice restraint, when at War a Knight will refrain from needless duels, arguments, or squabbles with other Knights in camp, to prevent injury to men who may be needed to command. A Knight must show true leadership, never requiring an action of his soldiers that he would not be willing to preform himself. Above all else, a Knight must act with honor, a Knight will not abandon allies on the field, nor will he seek to profit from the loss of his allies.
