Age of Arcanum

The Age of Arcanum took place between 8,000-1,000 years ago. This age followed the age of Draconium, with the Dragons having disappeared the races of Illios were free to govern themselves. Kingdoms were formed/reborn from the lands the Dragons held, the largest of them was the Empire of StormHaven. Early on in the age of Arcanum the religion of the Great Divines began to spread through the land. This religion spread fast through the land, and soon the Kingdom of Farengon was formed in the center of Illios. 
This age was one of many wars between kingdoms, but also many advancements, the people of Illios prospered without the Dragons, and the very land was shaped by the magic of its people.
However everything changed when the Gods War began, this war plunged the land into darkness, the heroes known as the 5 Golden Saints emerged and championed the cause of Good as the Chosen of the Gods, together they battled there way to Twisted Spire, and Killed the Avatar of Vordakai. However Vordakai, the most feared of the Fell Gods, broke the Divine Law, and manifested himself in the material plan, cutting the sky asunder Vordakai unleashed the destruction of StarFall.
