Ryanite
Ryanite is an organic, magical material that takes the appearance of gemstones. It is an incredibly rare and sought-after substance with many uses. It can enhance the abilities of a living creature, or grant "life" to an artificer's creation or warforged. Infusing ryanite is an elaborate process that requires precision, care, and often thousands of gold pieces worth of resources. Some people turn to cruder methods of taking ryanite as a result, such as snorting the shards for a quick burst of energy. This can be a very dangerous practice, but one that many seek in order to quickly enhance their abilities.
Ryanite contains different properties depending on its color. It may have many effects on artificer's creations or on warforged, but below is a list of effects it may have on adventurers.
Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure necrotic energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 necrotic damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure frost energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 cold damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure acidic energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 acidic damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure fire energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 fire damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure radiant energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 radiant damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Purple: Arcane power, darkness, and corruption
Infusion: Your arcane strength grows permanently, based on your intelligence or charisma you may choose a number of spells, levels 1-3, equal to either modifier( a minimum of 1) from any of the 3 classes listed. (Wizard, Warlock, Sorcerer)Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure necrotic energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 necrotic damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Blue: Charisma and Leadership
Infusion: You gain the inspiring leader feat, and your charisma score goes up by 2 to a maximum of 20. You may also inspire your self 1/day using a d8.Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure frost energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 cold damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Green: Nature and Growth
Infusion: You can cast commune with nature at will, 3x/day. You may also manipulate plant life to create a 10x10x10 cube.Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure acidic energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 acidic damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
Red: Anger and Destruction
Infusion: 1/day you may go into a barbarian like rage, your skin emits an intense head any creature who ends their turn next to you takes 2d6 fire damage.Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure fire energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 fire damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
White: Faith and Divine
Infusion: You grow angel-like wings, becoming weightless you gain a fly speed of 60 ft and immunity to necrotic and radiant damage.Snort: You gain a breath attack of pure radiant energy for 2 rounds of combat. This deals 4d6 radiant damage with a DC 15 Dex saves or half damage.
