The Reach
The Reach is the western most region of Ameril.
Barren and desolate the hubs of safety within The Reach are few and far behind. Unlike The Heartlands, few civilized folk ever resided here. The landscape is charred and pocked with signs of arcane energy, destruction and great stretches of seemingly nothing, where dangerous creatures lie in wait for foolish travelers. To the south east, lies the Stormborn Sea, and the ruined Leylines that still run there crackle and flicker without end. Guarded by the House Dotsk; few journey beyond the city walls of Lokussa into the badlands beyond.
There are many who use magical aritfacts and gear from the previous wars and Dragon holdings that once dotted the area, however mostly it's sent back carefully to Meridith for reforging or selling, although pirates are want to take their fare share.
Those who live hear seek the powers that have stemmed from the arcane destruction of the Waning Rift to the southwest, look to explore over the Endless Rise or are determined to civilize the Threshwood.
