Threshwood
The Threshwood covers much of the northern area of The Reach and some say that the Thresh is fragment of a once mighty forest that covered the centre of the world. Few can pace safely through the warrens of giant Spiders, deep marshes and Leshen communities that abound inside the deep forest and rumours of a Dragon that lurks deep within keeps most of these away.
Much of the northern wood seems to have begun to wither and die, plagued trees and darkened branches bring with it rumours of an entity known as the Rotting Man. Closer to the edge lies long overgrown ruin of towns which once dared to begin inside the grasp of the deep forest. Rivers Deep marks the southern most boundary of the wood and over half of the deep lake dips in to the Threshwood, giving way to dark marshes and thick mangroves.
