Kirrār Lek (ki'ra:ɾ lek̚)

''Praised be the Holy Vessel! Praised be the Rainmaker's Gourd!' Praised be the Cradle of Thorns!''
The gourd from which the god Audek Eytharēn is said to have been born, the Kirrār Lek is revered in Ainecharin as their holiest relic. A pillar of their identity, it has always accompanied and guided the Aineci in their migrations.

History

From an era long gone

''Thus Arkaleyr, with Audek Eytharēn by his left hand and Eyr Kaynok by his right, proclaimed himself king of all the Aynek. To ensure the tribes would embrace the return of the kingship long gone, Kaynok gave him his cloak and Eytharēn his gourd''.

This artifact's origins are entirely unknown, it seemingly appearing alongside the Aineci monarchy some 3 centuries ago. However, a simple look at the gourd tells that it is much older than that, probably by several millennia.   Despite that, who first used the Kirrār Lek and for what purpose is a complete mystery.

A migrant's treasure

''Thus from the gourd came a voice. You must slaughter the king you follow and throw his head down a well! For he has sinned against me! For he has not honoured me in victory! Said Audek Eytharēn''.
-excerpt from the Royal History
As the Aineci migrated out of the Land of Nul, they carried with them the holy gourd. It played a major role in their journey, sitting at the centre of their religious life and being the paramount symbol of both their unity as a nation and their special relationship with the divine.   Besides this, the Aineci priestly class used the artifact to make their will known it was Audek Eytharēn's primary means of communication with his people.
