They made an honest mistake, I think turns into I heard that they did it on accident, but what if they didn't? turns into I heard they tried poisoning people by feeding them spoiled food! which quickly turns into Did you hear? The owner of the Green Parade is said to be part of the Shadowbound, and he fed the customers these Phytozoa to turn them into beasts to live among the native species. How cruel of them! How cruel indeed.

Aftermath

He got bullied, severely. The owner that was always known as bubbly and upright was turned into a villain overnight. His house got robbed, windows broken, he was publicly shamed, beaten up and cast out of any social circle. He eventually resigned from his position as owner and head chef of the Green Parade and moved into the outskirts of the known Foreverglade forest. Is this just? Probably not. Did the citizens of Vaporio take the easy way out and feel good about themselves? Probably. A sad story, told by many sad people, recounted by a sad old friend.
