As much as I don't want to get involved in this on any serious level, there is no way I can let Grand just fucking orate at you on this topic. He'll do what he usually does, say a whole lot of nothing of value and get you intrigued enough to start poking your nose around in places where you shouldn't. Then before you realize what's going on, you are already past the point of return and stuck in the clutches of one of these groups. That's not to say that all of these can't be dealt with fairly and safely. That's not what I'm saying here. What I'm saying is, each and everyone of the organizations I'm going to talk about is dangerous on a very real level.
You could meet them a dozen times and walk away perfectly fine, with no adverse effects at all. If that's the case then you should consider yourself extremely lucky because those are some long odds. Each and every meeting is a new chance for a cosmic ray bitflip event to happen and then, then you become affected. Maybe they just are just keeping an eye on you, or maybe they invite you to join them, maybe they see you an enemy and begin to try and remove you from their equations. Could be one of those, or it could be something else that I can't even think of like you end up shaking someone's hand and everything tastes like the color purple after that. How is that even possible, who the fuck knows...but I know a guy who that happened to once. He made it almost two years dealing with that before he threw himself into a painting.
Basically, what I'm getting at here is that you have to be careful around groups of people, because a person can be smart and clever and someone you can deal with. But people, groups of people, are like mobs and the IQ of a mob is always the IQ of the dumbest person that's a part of it. I'd say you can only trust a group if you're the one in charge of it, but even then I wouldn't risk it. If you want my advice, you're better off not getting involved with any of these, but I'm not your parent. Do what you want, it's a free country after all...at least that's they want you to think.
