Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Pyknic is by no means a large presence. He is incredibly slender and one could almost mistake him as a corpse. His movements have a life to them that seems almost unnatural. Looking into his eyes are said to be filled with a grimness that few can compare. Being in his presence gives you pause to wonder if he is even a person. While he is not physically much to look at, you do want to avoid turning your back too much to him as he climbed to become one of the most feared individuals in the Ruby Fortress.

Pyknic's ideal clothing is something comfortable. He's been found in his home wearing a robe and loosely fitting pants.

Personal history

Boss Pyknic is one of the most powerful individuals in the Ruby Fortress. One of the four Bosses of the Fortress, Pyknic holds a position of power that lies outside of the fortress official leadership. They each belong to a family that controls a large portion of the fortress and the politics within.
Pyknic was born to a poor Gnome family. When his father passed away in a mining accident, he had to help his mother with the costs of living. Pyknic was clever, but also hot-headed. As a result, he had several business owners turn him down for apprenticeships. Slowly getting pushed out of several opportunities, Pyknic started his own ventures finding ways to skirt the laws of Scuno and the Anvilborn Council. 
Over time he started to be known as the Ruby Devil for the reputation that making a deal with him was not the kind of deal you wanted to make. He always seems to have a plan together for taking over more territory.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Pyknic's greatest achievement was the take over of former boss Tevest's family. Pyknic had climbed the status of the family after having shown great progress in negotiating. It is hard to say if the rumors are true, but it is assumed that Pyknic had a plan to off boss Tevest. Considering the great lengths that Pyknic has proven to pull off.

Failures & Embarrassments

Over the years as he has grown more powerful, Pyknic has struggled to gain more control as his opponents are much stronger. The other three bosses have proven resistant to Pyknics attacks and plans.

Intellectual Characteristics

It is incredibly difficult to outsmart Pyknic. It takes a unique mind or complete illogic to throw off Pyknic.

Taboos

When meeting Pyknic saying his name as "Picnic" will throw him into a rage. People address him as "Pyke-nic" or as the Ruby Devil.
