The Infernal Desert

The Infernal Desert earns its name from it's harsh alien landscapes or blood red sand dunes and rocky hard pan. The sun stabs every square mile of this desert infusing it with its hateful radiation resulting in the highest temperatures in the world by a large margin. Life fights hard in this barren hellscape, punctuating the desert are small oases made of black palm trees with red fronds and black agave along with other succulents. Acres wide black and red cactus forests offer a little respite for the wildlife that calls the area home. Only the hardiest of creatures can survive the red hot sands of the Infernal Desert. Giant purple worms burrow beneath the dunes while giant reptiles crawl along the surface. Giant beetles, spiders and scorpions roam the rock pillars and volcanic caves of Mount Fierna.
