Nek'ko

-"Quiet, agile, deadly. No known origin point is agreed on among scholars, but what they can agree on is that they're commonly found in The Vas'kii Deserts . This race of intelligent creatures appear identical to a typical house cat in terms of looks and sounds, often being no bigger than a large gnome in stature. But don't let their appearance fool you, for they're usually quite intelligent, almost matching that of a Human and are extremely sly! An adventurous species, they're never in one spot for too long before moving onto a new place to call home." -Race Description from The World of Idoria TTRPG

-At a glance, a Nek'ko would appear as just another house cat. Their fur patterns, their behaviors, and even their attitudes all match that of a house cat! No one quite understands what makes a Nek'ko a Nek'ko instead of just a house cat; but what is known is that beyond basic appearance and behaviors, Nek'ko wear clothes, armours, and jewlery! They weild weapons, cast magic, and speak like a human child! Even the barbarians in The Nation of Xylotile couldn't find a biological difference during dissection.

-Their mystique aside, this race of beings is a lot smarter than anyone wishes to give credit for. Nek'ko pick up spells like a child learning a new language, they can read at much higher level than most humans of the same socio-economic background, and they can often weasel their ways out of sticky situations.

-Appearance-wise, they take on all the shapes, sizes, and colour patterns of a normal house cat: tortoiseshell, calico, tabby, siamese, etc...
