-Members of the Fae, these creative beings look and, mostly, act like humans, except they're less than half the size!

-Most commonly, gnomes are found in, what are called, 'colonies'. Micro cities set within the Myanic trees' trunks and root structures, often interlinking with other Myanic trees. Most colonies are only the size of a small settlement, though there have been sightings of ones small enough to fit in a barn and at least one that was larger that a small village! These colonies share in a symbiotic relationship with the trees they inhabit, keeping them safe from infestation and rot in exchange for the Gnomes' safety.

-Gnomes being Fae means that they're typically not to be trusted, at least at face value. They're quite cunning an are very sly with their word choice. If one were to make a deal with a gnome, they could expect it to be fulfilled... That is, if they can figure out the true nature of the bargain.

-Being members of the Fae also means their ability to wield magic is incredible and comes to them as easily as humans blink.

-Their outstanding amount of whimsy and charm, in addition to their knack for story telling and acting, makes them fantastic Performers, seemingly by default! Although they're more than capable of doing other things, they enjoy the arts of the theatre the most and those who see them can't help but adore them!

-Gnomes do have the phenomena that most creatures have, known as "sexual dimorphism". Meaning, besides minute details, "male" and "female" gnomes look, sound, and act the same.

-Gnomes also reproduce asexually, though the means by which they do this remains a mystery.
