Dwarf

-"Usually found within great and expansive mines in colder climates, these hardy creatures are quite fond of mining, ale, and gold. Often times their fortifications, towns, or settlements are found underground or carved into the a mountain's face. Their smithing abilities are unmatched, their toughness only rivaled by the hum'dova, and their greed only beat by humans." -Race Description from The World of Idoria TTRPG

-Superb miners, artisanal blacksmiths, and professional alcoholics, the dwarves are an incredible race to behold.

-Their architecture displays magnificent art deco designs, high-precision surfaces, and incredible lighting. Even their mines slowly turn from rock and rubble to cut stone and forged steel! Most don't even recognize that they are in a dwarven mine until they stumble upon the fresh rock at the end of the sprawling tunnels.

-Their tools and armours are also of significance, as their least experienced blacksmith tends to outshine even that of the most well refined human! Dwarven tooling is worth its weight in Iridium to most nations, especially to the highly industrialized The Nation of Xylotile. A good number of dwarves have found themselves setting up shop and creating mines of their own in Xylotile, much to the delight of the barons.

-It's easy to befriend a dwarf, too! Just offer up some beer or ale and tell of a great adventure; just be cautious, as a dwarf drinks like they breathe.

-A dwarf is not to be pushed around, however, as they are incredibly wise, durable, and strong for their size. If a dwarf can move stone and steel as elegantly and precisely as if it were clay, imagine what they could do to someone who crossed them.
