Adventurer's Shop
Across the world, Adventurers can be found and alongside them the Adventurer's Guilds! Where the guilds manage, direct, and oversee the adventurers & the adventurers perform dirty work and assist in the local economies; the Adventurer's Shops are the places most of those strong-willed individuals gather their most-basic of supplies.
From basic rope to torches to potions to keep the adventurers alive & well! Their stock may seem shallow and not very diverse, but that is typically because they have trade agreements with the other shops and don't wish to encroach on their business. Their limited variety also ensures that people know exactly what they'll have in stock as well as making it easier for the more mobile shops to reach customers in more difficult or far-reaching areas that a brick and mortar would not be able to.
Adventure'rs Shop
Below lists the typical stock of an Adventurer's Shop.
Item | Description | Price |
---|---|---|
Rope | Typically sold in 3 metre segments (but can be bought in longer segments), it's rope! Tie up a bandit! Repel down a crevasse! Climb up a wall! Keep the owlbears out of your food! Such a simple, yet useful item to have! | 5 Silver Coins |
Torch | Hot to the touch when lit, a torch is perfect for a cold & dark space! Useful for seeing in the dark, hanging on a dungeon wall, keeping the shadows at bay, and more! An essential item to have for any aspiring adventurer! Be sure to carry a few of these, as they tend to run out after ~10x turns! Note: Can be used as an improvised weapon. Upon damaging an enemy, it has a 1d4 chance to ignite them. | 10 Silver Coins |
Ever-Burning Torch | Cold to the touch, yet brighter than a typical torch! This torch will never extinguish due to its magical nature. Due to this, however, it is quite a bit more expensive. Note: Unlike the normal Torch, the Ever-Burning Torch does not ignite enemies struck by it. | 1 Gold Coin |
Vial of Ingested Instant Health | Heals the consumer for 1d8 HP! Note: Single use | 6 Silver Coins |
Flask of Ingested Instant Health | Heals the consumer for 1d8 HP! Note: Has two (2) uses | 12 Silver Coins |
Bottle of Ingested Instant Health | Heals the consumer for 1d8 HP! Note: Has six (6) uses | 36 Silver Coins |
Vial of Ingested Regeneration | Heals the consumer for 4 HP each turn for one (1) turn! | 12 Silver Coins |
Flask of Ingested Regeneration | Heals the consumer for 4 HP each turn for two (2) turns! | 24 Silver Coins |
Bottle of Ingested Regeneration | Heals the consumer for 4 HP each turn for six (6) turns! | 72 Silver Coins |
True Resurrection | Occasionally one may find themselves impaled, beheaded, incinerated, or otherwise killed while out adventurering. It happens to the best adventurers and the worst adventurers, fret not, for adventuring guilds offer a True Resurrection service for its guild members! Just bring the guild the deceased party member, the appropriate payment, and bippity boppity! It'll be like death never happened in the first place! Note: The target's original body, if even existent, is re-organized back to 100% maximum HP. There is no way to tell they were ever dead; no scars or marks of any kind. The body is resurrected to a state that the soul of the target would prefer. Meaning if they prefer an artificial limb, had something surgically or magically removed previously (or planned on doing so), etc... They would be resurrected with those changes. **This spell does NOT undo consensual body modifications.** The body and its original soul are reunited (unless the soul is trapped or bound) but only if the soul of the target wishes to be resurrected. Else the body becomes whole again and is breathing/"alive", but has literally no soul or consciousness and is just a husk. | 1 Platinum Coin |
Scroll of True Resurrection | Do you want to be able to return a fallen party member out in the field, yourself? How about as insurance in case you perish? Well this is the item for you! A Scroll of True Resurrection allows the user to cast True Resurrection on 1x target. Note: Like all other scrolls, the scroll is consumed in this process. See the Priest's "True Resurrection" for more details. | 1 Platinum Coin |
