Sisterhood of Candeliana

Successor of the Sisters of Treiskyries, one of the two major Sisterhoods of modern Witches.

Structure

The Candeliana Sisterhood is led by three Mistresses Supreme, one of them must be a Sylvana-Tilyach. Only High Mistresses can be become candidates for Mistress Supreme.   The three current Mistresses Supreme are Ynarra Sylvana-Tilyach, Aisling Sylvana-Tilyach and Niyam Sylvana   Novice--Advanced Novice (Outer Circle)   Wielder--Mistress--High Mistress (Middle Circle) (some of the high mistresses are in the inner circle)   Mistress Adviser—Mistress Supreme (Inner Circle)   The three Mistress Supreme led the Inner Circle, a council of High Mistresses and Advisers who negotiate and initiate decisions, call upon gathering and judgement, to give out rewards, promotion, demotion, to initiate exile or even execution.   All Witches gather in circles of tri-fold numbers, can be as small and secluded as three, or large as twenty-one.

Public Agenda

To teach and pass down their knowledge of magic.   To magnify their influence.

History

After the Queen's War, the Sisterhood were prosecuted by the Yelaadim. They were chased across the seas, and eventually found refugee in the home forest of Cyrridven's Circle of the Moon. In honour of the forest and land that housed them, the Sisterhood changed its name to Candeliana, and every Witch born afterwards took after Sylvana as their family name.   Having been relocated into the Circle of the Moon's home environments, Cyrridven's teaching became mainstream, followed by a modified school of Circe. Kashmit's followers were gradually marginalised, and their unleashing the plagues might be a last attempt to regain attention, or might well be a blame afflicted on them to drive them away, or might be a bit of both, that we may never know.   None the less, Cyrridven's and some of Circe's practice are the main aspects of today's Sisterhood of Candeliana. They often criticise their Nemesis counterpart as cruel and unreasonable, and blame the centuries long witch hunt on Dalia's unleashing of the plague.

Do as thou wilt but harm none, for what thou giveth out shall return three-fold
