Personal history
Capture and Slaughter
He was captured along with others by the Horn Breaker Herd when they raided Kalinda, and brought to Ognin Okh as a captive. Recognizing him as a fighter of great strength, the orc warchief had him brought to the fighting ring, and slew him in single combat.Reanimation
His corpse was used by the necromancer Nehrakgu, of whom the warchief was a thrall, to create the bestial Goreflower. A bull's head was fashioned onto his neck, and the great rift of the axe strike which fell him sealed. His ribcage was rent open as if a flower in bloom, and when reanimated an orb of ghoulish fire hung there where his heart ought be.Put to Rest
When the party raided Nehrakgu's lair, he raised Goreflower and commanded him to defeat the party. In the course of the battle, the orb of reanimating fire in his chest was disrupted, and the resulting blast of necrotic energy consumed most of the party and leaving Goreflower charred to the bone. In his dying moment he impaled Raeth upon a dark sword, and they fell as the rest of the party into darkness. In a near death state, they found themselves in the Negative Energy Plane, at the edge of Binding Site: Goreflower. There they fought and destroyed the true form of Goreflower, and freed Dyrell's spirit. As he traveled on into the afterlife, he dragged their spirits out of the negative energy plane, allowing them to return to physical form.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
