Personal history

Early History

Some time before the party encountered the Horn Breaker Herd, Uram was a warlord, feared for his strength and malice. He'd gathered a great war-herd of orcs, and broken some of the wild aurochs of the land to their will. His reign was fierce, slaughtering any that dare defy his primacy.   In this period he was wounded gravely, but was given a semblance of healing by the dark works of Nehrakgu. This salvation became his undoing, enthralling him to Nehrakgu's desires. It at his wishes that Uram gathered the Horn Breaker Herd, and created the war camp to later be known as Ognin Okh.

Prior to the Battle at Ognin Okh

Several days prior to the battle at Ognin Okh, the horn breakers raided the hamlet Kalinda, slaying many and taking captives. Among them was the champion Dyrell. Seeing his valor, Uram slew him in single (albeit unfair) combat in a display of force. After combat, he brought the corpse to Nehrakgu, who used it in his dark work to create Goreflower.

The Battle at Ognin Okh

Uram joined the battle soon after the Dawn Hawks descended upon the orcs, and with a great javelin he fell the hawk of Ithronel. Visseus lept down to come to his rescue, and challenged Uram to single combat, which the warchief gladly accepted. A throng of orcs surrounded them as Uram led Visseus to the fighting ring, a massive hand about Ithronel's neck. In the ring Uram found himself outmatched by the elf warrior, and was run through the heart with a fine blade.   Yet he fell only to a knee, and his death seemed to stretch too long in coming. Standing, he pulled forth the blade, which run through the gnarled black scar which spanned his chest, and black blood bled from the wound. With cruel intent he struck down Visseus, and at that time THE PARTY intervened, and slew Uram for good.

Legacy

At a time after his death, it became common for orcs to curse as "Uram" those who otherwise would be proud warriors, yet capitulated to others that held some arcane or eldritch power.
