Gerudo Desert
Geography
With many flat, rolling hills of sand punctuated with canyons and hills hiding pockets of water, the Gerudo Desert is home to the Gerudo people. Only one main river crosses it's entirety, and near it's origin point is where the gerudo built their main city.
The desert is hot and dry year-round, but gets extremely cold during the night. This dichotomy makes living in the desert a challenge, and can make travel very dangerous if not prepared.
Natural Resources
The Gerudo mainly care for goats and other desert-hardy animals in a nomadic lifestyle. However, near oasis locations many exotic fruits and plants that can only thrive in the constant year-round sunlight of the desert are cultivated for consumption.
