Sand Sea

A vast area of sand dunes in the Hyrule Desert.
Sand Sea is thought to have once been part of the sea or perhaps a vast lake. However, due to a rapid climate change, the water evaporated, leaving the body of water in its current desiccated state. This theory is due to ancient ship wrecks occasionally uncovered in the shifting sands.
