Van Helsing Silver
What Is Van Helsing Silver?
Like all silver, Van Helsing silver is a soft, white metal that carries lightning and heat through it.
It is also the shiniest of the metals.
Being soft, silver does not hold up well as a blade. But when mixed with copper and tin, such blades suddenly become deadly.

How much copper and tin? Well, that is a fiercely guarded secret.
A slightly different blend is used in their bullets, as a bit softer is prefered for maximum power in their pistol shots.
Silver mirrors are yet another masterful work that can be found within their shops.

It's not the werewolves drawing Dracula East?"

Weaponry
The Badge
The silver badge of the Van Helsings is worn by the mages and scholars.
It is their job to provide knowledge, magic, and inventions to assist in the monster hunts.
Casting spells through the badge adds to the potency of the magic.
This is used only when needed as each badge holds a limited amount of magic.
The Blade
These daggers have blades measuring thirteen inches from crosspiece to tip and the hilt six inches from top of the crosspiece to the pommel end which is always set with gem.
Though they are silver, the Van Helsing Daggers are strong and sturdy in combat, able to maintain their keen edges.
These blades are deadly to most, especially werewolves.
Though they cannot kill a vampire, the Van Helsing Daggers can injure them enough to make driving that stake into the heart much easier.
The Bullets
by Semevent
Unlike the blades, the silver bullets are peppered with sawdust along their thin seams.
They can kill a vampire when one strikes the heart.
