The Empire Stands

For centuries the Empire has remained isolated from the wider Galaxy, only acting when provoked. Many begin to see this as a sign of weakness and decline and a series of small-scale wars ensues as a result. While triumphant, the leaders of the Empire decide that they need to take an active stance in galactic affairs to prevent the rise of potential threats. A far cry from the imperialistic, all-consuming titan of old, the Empire is once again a major player in the Andromeda Galaxy.
