With no enemy remaining to threaten them, the Krigan turn on themselves. The modified Queens are stolen from Kaedis-5 by various Warlords, who use them to produce endless swarms of warriors and fleets. Thousands of systems are wiped clean of life. Billions of Krigan are thrown into the ceaseless conflict, and the species itself degenerates further and further into a mindless hive.
