Reproduction in ginnunghval includes an internal process driving a splinter off the parent's own "realm crystal" to provide a seed crystal for the child.

Ginnunghval speak their own language, at radio frequency, by adjusting the resonance of their realm crystals. The ginnunghval can understand Celestial if it is spoken slowly enough.
