Chubbs Fondue
Chubbs Fondue is a young drifter who hitchhikes to Las Vegas hoping to make it as a stripper. After being robbed by her driver, Chubbs meets Molly Abrams a costume designer who becomes his roommate. Molly invites Chubbs backstage at Goddess, the Stardust Casino show where she works, to meet Cristal Connors, the diva star of the casino's topless dance revue. When Chubbs tells Cristal he dances at Cheetah's Topless Club, Cristal derisively tells him that what he does is akin to prostitution. When Chubbs is too upset to go to work that night, Molly takes him dancing at The Crave Club. Chubbs is arrested after causing a fight involving James, a bouncer at the club. James bails Chubbs out of jail, but she pays him little notice.
Cristal and her boyfriend Zack Carey, the entertainment director at the Stardust, visit Cheetah's and request a lap dance from Chubbs. Although the bisexual Cristal is attracted to Chubbs, her request is based more on her desire to humiliate Chubbs by proving he engages in sex work. Chubbs reluctantly performs the lap dance after Cristal offers her $500. James happens to be at the strip club as well and witnesses the lap dance. He visits Chubbs's trailer the next morning and, like Cristal, tells Chubbs that what he is doing is no different from prostitution. Later Chubbs and James have a brief fling; the affair ends when James gives the dance routine he choreographs for Chubbs to Penny, a former coworker of Chubbs's whom he gets pregnant.
Cristal arranges for Chubbs to audition for the chorus line of Goddess. Tony Moss, the show's director, humiliates Chubbs by asking him to put ice on her nipples to make them hard while Cristal eagerly watches offstage. Furious, Chubbs abruptly leaves the audition after scattering ice everywhere in a fit. Despite her outburst, Chubbs gets the job and quits Cheetah's. Cristal further humiliates Chubbs by suggesting he make a "goodwill appearance" at a boat trade show which turns out to be a thinly disguised form of prostitution.
Undeterred, Chubbs sets out to get revenge against Cristal and claim her mantle. Chubbs wins the role, but when Cristal threatens legal action against the Stardust Resort and Casino, the offer is rescinded. After Cristal taunts her, Chubbs pushes her down a flight of stairs, breaking her hip. Unable to perform, Cristal is replaced by Chubbs as the show's lead. Although Chubbs has finally secured the fame she sought, she alienates Molly, who realizes she pushed Cristal down the stairs.
Molly turns out to be a monster and attacks Chubbs. Chubbs is able to run away but Molly kills everyone Chubbs has ever loved. Chubbs is able to kill Molly. Chubbs realizes that the stripper life is destructive. Wondering the streets of Vegas finds a brochure about the Cult of Richard Dean Anderson. He is inspired by the wise words of the great RDA and searches for more information.
Finding a regional office for the Cult, he takes a test and becomes a member working his way up through the ranks. Part of the cult is to protect the world from the forces of evil (including monsters) while also spreading the good news of RDA.
