Tellus
God of the Earth
God of the Earth Tellus
Tellus is the god of the earth who lives in the dwarven mines. Of his realm, there is little to say. It's simply the mines inhabited by the dwarves for longer than even history itself remembers. There are no wars, riots, or events of note in its history. Due to the only thing of note is the more than dizzingly strong alcohol, it isn't worth its own article.
Due to how peaceful the dwarven mines are, Tellus is known to be the most humane god, even more than Adhaya (Adhaya). This fact is only helped by the fact that he acts and otherwise appears mortal. He is very hardworking and often inspires his people to do the best they can in the time they have.
While, for most of history, Tellus was female, one day he just became male. His people questioned him, and he responded, even if he hid details. All he said was that it wasn't his choice. He never said what cursed him, be it a person or a potion. People, however, speculate that Tellus and the other gods were simply messing around with their powers, something happened, and Tellus somehow managed to switch genders with their assumed lover, Bronte (Bronte). This theory also extended to the only thing people can draw from what remaints of knowledge is known of Bronte.
Whatever happened to Tellus, the whole thing is quite ironic. Of course, Tellus' people often attempt to figure out what happened and how to fix it, should Tellus wish it, but they also laugh about it behind his back. They do not have to worry about Tellus reacting badly if he hears their comments, for they know and respect Tellus' humanity. In addition, Tellus was the first one to make a joke about it.
