God of Death
God of Death Hiadei
Hiadei is the god of death. They are the most mysterious of the gods, for most of the information about them was deliberately erased from history by death-fearing heretics long ago. That being said, there was never much to begin with.
Hiadei has always kept to themself. They changed and hid the name and location of their domain just weeks before the heretics burned all of their known history. One of the few things known is, due to their nature as the god of death, they have never trusted the living or post-living, and they likely never will.
Hiadei is the only god to never have a chosen one, formally or informally. Instead of those who have wills, Hiadei surrounds themself with dead spirits who will follow their every command without complaint or reprimand. The only person who Hiadei has ever chosen to speak to since death and life became seperate concepts is the god of life, Adhaya (Adhaya).
In order to protect themself, Hiadei changes the name and the location of their domain every fifty years or so. Since no one actively seeks them out anymore, their efforts are in vain. Most people simply call Hiadei's home 'Hiadei's Palace' or 'Hiadei's Castle'. Even though they have not interacted with the outside world since these precautions became necesary for them, they are still dense to not realize that they don't have to walk on quite as many eggshels anymore. After all, they haven't seen fire since reliable electricity was invented.
