Lawless
Lawless is a name given to those that choose to live outside the protections of the Walls. There are many reasons why one would want to live away from society. Most are criminals, people who can't live by the rules of a healthy community. Then there are Faithful, people who believe that the fate of humanity is the will of some deity or another. Every few years some new cult shows its ugly head in the wastes or are driven from some settlement. These new beliefs don't last long, often finding some way to implode. Only two have managed to endure the God of the old world. One full of wrath condemning humanity for its sins. The people that follow him think it is their mission to punish all those who survive on the earth. They even take part in cannibalism believing they are partaking in the blood of their savior. The other one a polytheistic religion believing their gods are testing them. If that wasn't enough, then there are the Slave traders. Slave labor is a valued commodity among many of the Walls. They are scooping unsuspecting victims at every corner. The last group of people escaped oppression from one of the Walls. Most of these settlements are ruled by tyrants that either take control using force or persuasion.
