The Southern Nexus

The Southern Nexus is much like its twin far to the north, it is a land comprised of ice, snow, and rock with cold a kin to its northern brother but unlike its northern brother it is a place of terrible calm and quiet. The only light that is seen in this place is that of the pillar of light at the center of the nexus this pillar unlike its twin blazes in a brilliant green and blue hew and cast auroras of purple and green. The landscape of this nexus is one of enormous frozen mountains that line in a circle with the entrance to the pillar at their base, their are no winds in this place, there is no movement, there is only the slight yet deafening hum of the nexus itself.

Geography

A place of cold a kin to that of the far north a still inexplicable silence that silences even the purest of bird songs. At the center of this desolate place lies a circle of impossibly large mountains and floating islands all connected by great twisting tendrils of magic and aurora that blaze with a brilliant hew of purple and green. At the outermost side of those mountains lies a great expanse of ice and glacial bodies much akin to that of The Northern Nexus , an impossibly wide landscape of glacial caverns and ice shelves that twist and turn in a maddening labyrinth with no end. The shores of this land are lined with massive jagged rocks and glaciers that tear open the strongest of ship hulls and freeze any passengers to death within its below freezing waters.

Fauna & Flora

like its twin in the north nothing can grow in this desolate land no plant can take root in its rocky and barren landscape and no animals can successfully hunt or hide within its silent hills and caves.

Natural Resources

No one has ever made it to the Southern Nexus successfully and returned to tell the tale.
