King Durek - Light Period

The White Lord statues appearance in Battle Balt arenas throughout Tenglan reminded Imperials the importance of the White Lord and Church numbers rose.

The positive effects Battle Balt was having on Church attendance and people's attitudes convinced the Queen now was the time to strengthen this connection. In discussion with Durek they agreed she should use one of her sacred Divines to place inside the Royal Stadium in Imperias City.

From this the Lord's Strike was born - A balter would Strike the Lord with his blade before a match to generate even more anticipation for a bout. Balter attendance rocketed for all matches housed inside the Queen’s arena.   The church understood the significance of the Lord’s Strike and so, once again, called upon the Wizards to update the fake divines to mimic what her Majesty’s true divine did. It took a decade to install one in every Tenglan arena but once completed ensured a consistency for each contest. The Lord’s strike now preceded every professional battle balt contest.   The symbolism proved a remarkable success as Church attendance figures continued to flourish.
