Leviathan Class Battleship

An all consuming force that violates the very idea of natural design, its mechanical bulk and terrifying exterior are only matched by the unrelenting onslaught it can bring to bear.
This battleship class vessel is feared throughout the galaxy due to its destructive power and vicious visage. Onyx black metal covers its entire surface, with only the gleam of plasma turrets and missile emplacements giving any indication of its primarily rectangular form in the void of space. Its primary feature is a jaw-like apparatus at its front that serves various functions; from launching swarms of combat drones, to crushing enemy ships in close proximity, it can even fire out a concentrated beam of Void energy that can eviscerate an enemy capital ship within moments.
Used as the core of any fleet it appears in, this destructive vessel has both the fire power to lay waste to its foes, and the armor and shielding to take the full brunt of an enemy barrage without worry. These traits in combination with its ability to facilitate repairs by cannibalizing enemy ships without aid from smaller vessels, truly makes it a ship to be feared above all others bar one in the Drelock armada.

Power Generation

VPCG (Void Powered Centrifugal Generator) of an unknown design, possibly inspired by ancient First blueprints.

Propulsion

Unknown VEg (Void Engine) Type capable of near instantaneous travel across the galaxy. This same engine can be used to propel the ship in sub-light speed conditions.

Weapons & Armament

• 100 Plasma batteries (25 per side, including top and bottom)

• 30 heavy missle ports (15 on the left and right side)

• 10 Void tendril ports (5 on each side of the front jaws)

• Maw grappling rig (two massive portions of the front able to open and close like jaws)

Armor and defense

4 Void Barrier generators (one on each of the four sides of the ship)

Communication Tools & Systems

Basic long range and short range communication devices at the back of the ship.

Sensors

• FTL tracking system able to ascertain the location of incoming FTL jumps from neighboring star systems.

• Sub-light sensor array capable of tracking the movements and weapons fire of enemy vessels

Additional & auxiliary systems

• Self repair function through use of Void Tendrils in conjunction with the Maw at the front of the ship

• Two back up shield generators near the back of the ship

Hangars & docked vessels

One main hangar inside the Maw, and one auxiliary hangar at the bottom of the vessel. It is able to hold 10 wings of combat drones (100 per wing) and two Medusa class frigates in its auxiliary hangar.
