Boose Dump is a very popular sport with the Hooman Nations. It is very easy to pick up and play with other hoomans, but only the best can make it to the leagues.

HISTORY

Boose Dump evolved from a game created by a group of five younglins, who were entertaining themselves while picking up litter.   One of the founders, nicknamed Bungy, wrote up the official handbook to solidify the rules and conditions of a game.

POSITIONS

There are usually 8 to 10 members in a Boose Dump Team to take into account with backup in case of injuries or sickness.   For a general game, there are 5 members of a team playing, with 2 teams competing at a time. There are no official positions, however, there are types of playstyles that hoomans will keep into consideration:
Collector - A member who just grabs booses and dumps them when they can. Most casual type.
Camper - A member who sticks near the dumps to catch other hoomans trying to dump the booses. They have to take into consideration when the dumps move, and who is trying to drop off the booses.
Tank - A member who collects as many booses as they can, before dumping them at the end. Usually, hoomans who are difficult to trip up.
Tripper - A member who steals booses from other hoomans, mostly known for trying to trip others up to collect their booses.

EQUIPMENT

Professionally, all boose gear is heavily regulated to make sure it’s up to standard though for more casual players it’s relaxed. It’s common for boose dump teams to have a professional set and a casual set.   Players will wear protective gear, to help prevent injury. Arm and knee pads are a must, though most players will wear wrist guards and helmets too.  

Playing Field/ Arena

Casually, Boose Dump can be played in any place where a specified dump can be marked. Younglins are likely to play in parks or gardens, though more adventurous are likely to play in forests or large fields.   Professionally, the size of a Boose dump field is about 100m - 130m in both length and width.   Professional Live-plays will generally take place in a stadium, with the arena being made up of simple platforms and structures. The ground is covered with short, maintained grass at 3cm (though if the hosts are looking for a challenge, they'll let the grass grow.)

RULES

HOW TO WIN

To win, a player’s team must score 100 points in a round. Then win the most rounds during the designated amount of rounds played.   A tie-breaker round is played if teams win the same number of rounds, in which a limited (odd) number of booses are on the field. The Team to collect the most wins the tie-breaker.

HOW TO PLAY

A Classic match is played between 2 teams, with 5 players in the arena each.   Before the first round starts, both teams have to get into position in the arena keeping in mind where the booses are, and which dump might open.   When the match starts, the players must start collecting as many booses as they can. After 30 seconds, the dumps will then open to allow playing to deposit the booses. After that, every 5 minutes the active dumps will change until 100 booses are collected.

Boose Bonuses

Players can hold multiple Booses at once and will gain bonus points for depositing large amounts at once.

Keep note that holding a lot of Booses at once makes you a bigger target to the enemy team.

While Classic is the most common sort of match, there are many variants to the game since players like to modify the rules.   Some recognised variants in the handbook include:

INJURIES

Players are most likely to injure their wrists or ankles when competing. Injuries are more likely to happen during practice sessions since players are more relaxed about wearing protective gear.
If a player is injured on the field and is unable to play, they are quickly switched out with a backup player. Major injuries will cause the game to be stopped and postponed while it's dealt with.
