Battista Thrushcut di Eubteus Elected Strategoi Of Solstice

Fearing the Palladians would soon return, as well as another revolt by the people, the rebel leaders from among the twelve most influential families in the area gathered together to discuss how they would fill this new power vacuum. They decided to have the people decide in an election, with each family putting forth one of their own as a candidate. In the end, it was Battista Thrushcut of House Eubtreus, one of the leading figures of the revolt and a former pirate, who was elected and given the title of strategoi, a term akin to admiral or master of ships. Battista would later change the city's name to Solstice, in honor of the Sundering Arcanum.
