Zaguna

"Rage is all that remains of her and ruin all that remains in her wake" — Unknown

The Daughter of Death

Zaguna is one of the deities associated with gods of the Unspoken Six. She is considered the goddess of death, murder, killing, chaos, rape, theft, fear, mental illness, mind control, and the creator of demons. Originally, Zaguna was born to Milcon and Sidduril and was to be a member of the Heavenly Council. However, at a young age she was corrupted by the goddess Rheseldar who gave her silken noose soaked in poison. Zaguna strangled her mother to death and this act transformed her into a malevolent entity that seeks only to bring chaos and to destroy lives.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Zaguna was the daughter of Sidduril and Milcon. At a young age, she was corrupted by the goddess of lies, Rheseldar. She commissioned an unbreakable rope of silk from Zwakhasis and dipped in a pool of poison given to her by Rheseldar. She then snuck into her mother's bedchamber and strangled Sidduril in her sleep. As her mother struggled, the young goddess transformed into a hideous beast with swirling shadowy claws, a monstrous maw, and burnt bones jutting against her jet-black skin.   Her father, Milcon, entered the room and screamed with such horror his tongue was torn from his mouth and the rest of the Heavenly Council went slightly deaf. It is sometimes said this is why the gods to not answer every prayer as they are hard of hearing thanks to Milcon’s Lament. Zaguna fled to Rheseldar and pleaded to be allowed to hide in her Court of Mists. But Rheseldar feared that the whole Heavenly Council and their hosts would soon be upon them and destroy her so she refused.   Zaguna was captured by the Heavenly Council during a period of conflict between the first members of the Unspoken Six and the Heavenly Council called the War of the Dawn. The gods of the Heavenly Council forged a dimensional prison for Zaguna and all the truly sinful mortals called the Burning Labyrinths. To this day, she rules the Labyrinths as her kingdom and spawns demons that find cracks in the edges of space to come forth and wreak havoc upon the realms.
